4 Million Persons with Disabilities & Spinal Cord Injuries in Punjab at Extreme Poverty Level and No Hope of Future.

There are no definitive, reliable statistics for disabled persons in Pakistan, with conflicting figures from government censuses and other sources, ranging from less than 6% to around 15%.  The estimated statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO) show that 15 out of every 100 Pakistanis are disabled to some degree or other, and 3 out of every 130 persons have some form of severe disability.
